This is probably one of the most important things I can share with you. Your body is constantly sending you signals, and learning to pay attention to them is crucial for safe and effective exercise.
Feeling some muscle fatigue during exercise? That’s totally normal and expected. Your muscles are working and adapting. But sharp pain, dizziness, nausea, or feeling like you can’t catch your breath properly? That’s your body saying “Hey, something’s not right here – slow down!” Don’t try to be a hero and push through warning signs.
There’s a big difference between the good kind of challenge that comes with exercise and the bad kind that might lead to injury. When something doesn’t feel right, take a break, grab some water, or modify what you’re doing. Maybe lower the intensity, reduce the weight, or switch to a different exercise altogether. Remember, you know your body better than anyone else.
